Your poodle’s coat may not shed much, but the single-layer, tightly curled hair and continuous growth demand professional attention and breed-specific expertise. Without this, the hair is likely to mat – which is uncomfortable for your dog and can be dangerous for their skin.

Our poodle expertise is the foundation of our doodle grooming program, and we approach every size – whether toy, miniature or standard – with the same care and attention-to-detail. Professional grooming is recommended every 4-6 weeks, regardless of size.

At-Home Care
You can do the following to keep your poodle happy between grooms:
- Brush with a slicker brush every 1-2 days
- Focus behind ears, under legs and at the tail base
- Gently trim face, feet and sanitary areas as needed

This is Mud Puppies’ complete grooming package, with a warm bath, full haircut, brush out, teeth brushing, anal gland expression (upon request), ear cleaning and nail dremeling.

Tidy
The Tidy is a lighter maintenance groom that includes a warm bath, teeth brushing, anal gland expression (upon request), light dematting, brush out, ear cleaning, nail dremeling and a light trim to neaten face, feet, tail and sanitary areas.
