I highly recommend Mud Puppies! My golden doodle is crazy & very high energy. There are so many great things about Mud Puppies! The entire staff is so welcoming (to both me and my big furbaby), and most importantly, he always wants to go play. Literally the BEST place to bring your dog for all of yours and theirs daycare, boarding, and grooming needs. Do I need an appointment for the self-serve dog wash?
No appointment is needed. The self-serve dog wash at Mud Puppies Mopac location is walk-in only, available during regular business hours on a first-come, first-served basis. The dog wash closes one hour before the facility closes for the day, so plan accordingly.
Is the self-serve dog wash available at both locations?
No, the self-serve dog wash is available only at the Mud Puppies Mopac location near The Domain in north Austin. The Lake Creek/Cedar Park location does not have a self-serve wash, but full-service grooming is available at both locations.
Is there a size limit for the self-serve dog wash?
Nope! Any size dog is welcome. The professional-grade tubs at Mud Puppies accommodate dogs of all sizes, from toys to large breeds. The tubs are raised to a comfortable working height, so you do not have to bend over – regardless of your dog’s size.
